April is Month of the Military Child. This special recognition, established by former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger in 1986, serves as a reminder that military children play a role in contributing to the strength of military families Purple Up! Day is on April 18, 2025. Celebrate by wearing purple as a visible way to show support and recognize military children in the month of April. Purple was chosen because it is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military. It is a combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine Corps red, Navy blue and Space Force blue. Sabal Elementary supports our military families. Have your child wear purple to show their support. We thank you for your service

Mark you calendars! Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opens March 24th. Complete the online enrollment to secure your spot. We will have a kindergarten orientation on April 10th at 5:30pm. We welcome all families to attend so you can meet our amazing Kindergarten team and what to expect when your child starts kindergarten in August.

The Brevard Public Schools South Area Student Art Show will be on display at the Melbourne Square Mall from January 12, 2025 - January 25, 2025. The exhibit can be found inside the mall in the area in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods. Please stop by and see the art pieces selected to represent Sabal Elementary School as well as all the amazing BPS student art work!

Trailblazers, Picture Retake day is Wednesday. See the picture for how to order. Only students that didn't get photographed the first time, order online or have their old pictures to exchange will be photographed. Please let your child's teacher know if you ordered online.

Red Ribbon Week Starts Friday! We need all our Trailblazers to get together and show that begin drug free is GROOVY!

6th Grade is hosting a car wash on Saturday at Buz's Automotive-Wickham Rd and Aurora. Stop by and have them wash your car!

Mark your Calendars! Our first Gators Dockside spirit night is Tuesday, October 1st from 5pm-8pm. Kids eat free and kids karaoke!

Trailblazers, Our Parent Information Title 1/Open House is tonight! Meet in the cafeteria at 5:30 for a quick welcome and instructions for our scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt will be set up around campus and there is a chance to win prizes! You can do the scavenger hunt before and after you visit the classroom. Make sure to turn in your paper before you leave. You will be allowed to enter classrooms at 6:00pm for session 1. Session 2 begins at 6:40pm. The bookfair will be open from 5:30-7:30 too! Jeremiah's Ice will be here selling ice and ice cream. Make sure you stop by and see them before you leave!
